Before your Appointment

• Do not eat, drink, smoke, chew gum or use tobacco for at least 30 minutes before the cheek-swab collection.
• Adults should bring a valid government issues photo ID.
• A parent or legal guardian must be present for minors.
• Legal testing requires identification, photographs, and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Additional documentation may be required for postmortem or special circumstances testing.
